Kimberly and Zach's gorgeous maternity session last summer was the very first photo session I did after we moved to Washington. This fun-loving couple actually found me on Google because of my 2016 Bucket List, and they helped me cross off one of my biggest items: photographing a birth! (Blog post of that coming soon) They wanted to add a maternity session to their birth package, so we scheduled their session for early August--only a few weeks before Kimberly's due date!
I met Kimberly and Zach at Moulton Falls Park near Yacolt, WA on the most perfect PNW summer day. The moment I met them I knew that this couple was really special--super cute, super giving, and super adventurous! They drove almost two hours for their session because they wanted to explore a place they'd never been before and because it was close to where I was staying with my parents while we waited to move into our house. It was seriously amazing and just the perfect spot for their session! If you haven't visited Moulton Falls Park yet, I really encourage you to go. We only explored part of it, but there's an awesome bridge, several waterfalls, walking trails, lots of huge rocks, a swimming hole, and the most beautiful sunset light you've ever seen. Kimberly and Zach were total naturals in front of the camera and we got some of my most favorite shots to date.
I'm so excited to share this session with you, and I can't wait to share their amazing birth story, either! (Spoiler alert: they had an adorable baby boy less than a month after these photos were taken!) :)
