Hey hey! It’s 2019! Can you believe it?? I certainly can’t—and I also can’t believe that we’ve been in Alaska for ONE WHOLE YEAR already. I’m not going to lie, winter is dragging on right now, so I figured I should use this time to actually blog some sessions! I wanted to start by posting some of my favorite sessions from summer/fall of 2017 when we still lived in Washington, and what better way to start than with this super fun family session that incorporates some of the most iconic spots in Seattle? :)
Back in September, Mercia contacted me to do a family/high school senior session in downtown Seattle and I was so excited to plan this session with her! She has five boys (and she’s a HOMESCHOOL MOM to boot!) and her oldest was graduating that year. The Neace’s live in Eastern Washington but were making a weekend trip to Seattle and wanted to capture some of their favorite spots there: Gasworks Park, The Fremont Troll, and of course, Pike Place Market.
This was my first time shooting at Gasworks Park and I absolutely LOVED it. I could’ve spent the whole session there (and then some!), but we had other cool spots to see. I had so much fun running around downtown Seattle with Mercia and her boys, and I’m so grateful that she asked me to capture her fun family in this fun city. :)
