Stalder | Downtown Seattle Family Session

I've known Roberta since we were kids, so I was super excited when we started chatting about doing a family session in downtown Seattle last fall! She helped me check off one of my 2016 Bucket List items, and I absolutely loved spending time with her and her family.

Roberta and Matthew have three boys and one girl together and they are so.much.fun! Everyone was super happy and excited and chatty and sweet. I'd actually never met any of the kids in person before our session (but thanks to Facebook I felt like I had!), but they immediately warmed up to me and showed me around some of their favorite spots in downtown Seattle. We started at the waterfront and they took me down the cool back alleys and side streets around Pikes Place Market that I never would have found on my own! We stopped by the famous Gum Wall--which is both disgusting and fascinating to see--and it made a pretty cool backdrop for some pictures. We ended back on the dock near the Seattle Aquarium where everyone changed into their Seahawks gear (with the exception of one lone Dolphins fan...), and we took some more pictures at the fountain with the Great Wheel in the background.

Even though the weather was rainy, gray, and chilly for this entire session (or in other words--a typical fall day in the Pacific Northwest), we had such a great time and I love the moments we captured!
