What can I say about this elopement, this location, or this couple?? Nothing that isn’t cliché, I suppose, but I’ll say it anyway—Leasle and TJ are the MOST FUN COUPLE EVER I absolutely loved photographing their elopement at Snoqualmie Falls in Washington back in 2017.
Leasle and TJ have been together for a minute, and they are the quintessential fun-loving couple—adventurous, adorable, silly, and hilarious. I actually met Leasle for two reasons: 1) She’s friends with fellow photographer Ashley Layden (I photographed the Laydens in Portland in 2016), and 2) She responded to my 2017 Photography Bucket List for the mountain elopement! I feel like we instantly connected because she’s fun, down to earth, and seriously really funny. She’s beautiful, strong, adventurous, and clearly so in love with TJ. TJ is also fun and adventurous and he is just the perfect match for Leasle.
Out of all the things that I loved about this elopement, the thing I really loved was that Leasle and Tj wanted to have their elopement right down on the viewing platform at Snoqualmie Falls… during the height of summer… surrounded by their parents, siblings, and about 50 strangers who all witnessed, photographed, and videotaped their (not so) intimate ceremony. They knew what they wanted and did exactly what they wanted—totally owning this location, the crowd, the day, everything!
After their short but insanely sweet ceremony, we walked around and took some fun pictures in this beautiful location.
