Shull | Titlow Beach Park Family Session

I was so excited when Jessica contacted me for a family session a couple years ago back in Washington! She wanted a spot that was very “fall” with lots of color but something that was also easily accessible since they had a little baby. I recommended Titlow Park in Tacoma (because I LOVED it for Kaitlin & John’s engagement session), and I’m so glad we went with this location. The colors were spectacular, the weather was sunny after a few days of rain, and everything was just perfect. Little Evelyn is possibly the CUTEST BABY I’VE EVER SEEN, and they brought their beautiful German Shepherd, Luna, to the session as well. Luna was a little wary of me and my bubbly personality (totally understandable—sometimes I can be pretty scary). :)

We had so much fun wandering around the park and just chatting and taking photos in front of all the pretty spots we saw. Evelyn has the most amazing eyes ever and she is just too sweet. Jessica and Daniel were actually just getting ready to move out of Washington—like, they were DAYS away from leaving—but I’m so glad we were able to squeeze in this family session for them. I always love meeting and photographing fellow military families because we have so much in common (we were a couple months away from moving from Washington ourselves!) and we can both understand and appreciate the challenges that come with this life. I know it’s been a couple years and we’re both settled in our new homes now, but I understand what it’s like right before you pack up your entire life and move across the country for, like, the tenth time. How stressful and scary and exciting it is and how it’s just… you know, life.

Anyway… enjoy! :)
